THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ARE:
GCSE or GCE passes in 5 subjects including 2 at 'A' level (or passes in 4
subjects with 3 at 'A' level) plus the completion of a foundation course or
access course in Art & Design. Discretion will be exercised (particularly in the
case of mature applicants) to admit a student whose qualifications do not
conform to the standard minimum but show evidence of creative ability &
potential. All students show a portfolio of work at interview.

This course contains 3 parts. CNAA Certificate in Higher Education (years 1-2),
a CNAA Diploma in Higher Education (years 3-4), BA Degree (Hons) (year 5).
Entry to each part of the course is dependant on passing the previous part.
Accessibility and flexibility are the basis of this part-time course and there
wll be sympathetic recognition of 'life experience' in the case of mature
students. All applicants must show motivation, genuine commitment and an
acceptable level of practical accomplishment.

Applications through the Art and Design Admissions Registry. Required are 3
passes at GCSE grade C or above plus 2 passes at GCE 'A' level at grade C or
above. Alternatively successful completion of a recognised Arts Foundation
Course. Relevant industrial experience. A strong portfolio with photographs
and sketch books etc.
