ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The course provides an ideal training in all aspects of professional
photography for students who wish to progress to higher education, or who seek
to find immediate employment in the photographic industry.
Students are encouraged to identify their areas for specialisation, and in the
second year negociate 50% of their project base to ensure their portfolio
reflects their individual aims and aspirations.
The Institute also has HND, BA(hons) and media courses which include
photography as an element (major/minor option), plus City and Guilds 933 and
747 courses.

THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ARE:
This course is open to holders of a first degree, normally in a visual
communication related area, in art and design or recognised equivalent.
Diplomats in photography are eligible, preferably with ABIPP or ARPS membership
qualifications and/or extensive professional experience. Evidence of
dedication to post graduate study will be an essential quality in addition to
to the outline of a feasible programme of study. Good English skills are
essential. Significant evidence of creative or artistic ability by presentation
of folio.
