• A lower level course in photography or a course of which photography was part.

REQUIREMENTS WHICH ARE DESIRABLE FOR ENTRY ONTO THE COURSE ARE:

• A lower level of course of which general art or graphics was a part.
• Evidence of creative or artistic ability by presentation of a folio or test.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The department of photography originated from the 'Instituto di Stato per la Cinematografia e Televisione' (State Institute for Cinematography and T.V. in Rome). The Institute is a high school which aims to train professionally and culturally qualified personnel for the cine-tv industry. Courses last 5 years and award the `Esame di Stato' (State exam) which gives access to University. Access to the dept. of photography is possible after a common first year.
